Arts Education Webinar Series

The Maine Arts Assessment Initiative (MAAI) has provided two webinar series, one during the 2011-12 school year, and a second during the 2013-14 school year. The seven webinars were designed to engage teachers and administrators alike and hosted by MAAI leadership team members Catherine Ring and Rob Westerberg. Catherine is a visual art educator and presently the Director of the New England Institute for Teacher Education. Rob is a music educator from York High School. Both are co-founders of the MAAI. Each program addressed the key components of the initiiative and important topics facing educators. These webinars were recorded and have an accompanying "meeting plan" that school leaders can use or adapt to facilitate faculty meetings, conversations, or study groups looking at quality practices in arts assessment.

Links to the archived webinars, "meeting plans", and resources are posted below. The most recent ones from the 2013-14 school year appear first and the 2011-12 school year below. They are in chronological order from each of those school years.
