The Maine Arts Commission is responding to the needs of Maine’s communities by offering tailored workshops for constituents statewide. Community members are contacting the agency and requesting workshops ranging from grant writing to marketing.

International Arts Conference 2013, Strengthen the Core

The Maine Arts Commission, in partnership with the Collins Center for the Arts and the Atlantic Presenters Association of Canada, and collaborating with Bangor Arts, LA Arts, and Creative Portland are hosting an international arts conference. The Strengthen the Core arts conference will be held at the Collins Center on the University of Maine at Orono campus on October 24 to 26, 2013. The mission of the conference is to bolster the resources available to artists, arts organizations and community networks through the convening of professionals and the offering of development sessions, networking opportunities, artist showcases, and cross discipline collaborations. For details click this link.
