“iPhone/iPad Artistry” with Roberta Baumann at River Arts, Damariscotta
- April 25, 2016
The best camera for taking photos is the one that you always have with you. Lurking inside your iPhone is one of the most inspiring, capable, and fun imaging systems in all of photography. More than just a snapshot device, your iPhone is a powerful creative tool for making art, right in the palm of your hand. You now have both camera and darkroom in your pocket. Photographing with a mobile device adds a level of convenience, flexibility, and spontaneity to the photographic process. This four hour class will provide a solid introduction to using the iPhone/iPad as a creative tool for editing photos. We will also learn how to manage existing apps and do a little electronic housekeeping. A list of apps will be provided to participants so that they may be downloaded in time for the first class.
Roberta Baumann is a fine art photographer, teacher, and Gallery Director at Landing Gallery in Rockland. She fuels her creative spirit by exploring the process of capturing and editing photos with her iPhone. Roberta has taught iPhone photography at the Maine Media Workshops, 26 Split Rock Cove, River Arts, Georges River Land Trust and in private classes. In 2015 she exhibited in thirteen juried art shows. Her work is collected in the US and in Europe.
This is your opportunity to discover the power, fun, and stunning output that’s possible from your iPhone and iPad.
