Kittery, ME- On Friday August 22, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. the New York City and Vancouver based 49th Parallel Dance Company returns to The Dance Hall in Kittery presenting a new mixed program featuring the work of company directors/choreographers Ariana Champlin, a Buxton, Maine native and Carolyn Schmidt of British Columbia, along with company dancers Amanda Tay and Vivake Khamsingsavath.

With collaboration as a central focus for this show, audiences can expect to enjoy diverse and electrifying contemporary dance from a variety of artistic voices. PATHWAYS is a visual, kinetic expression of human emotions, relationships and what it means to be alive in our complex world.  49th Parallel's dynamic work has been seen at venues and festivals across the continent, including The Young Choreographer's Festival (NYC) and Feats Festival of Dance (Edmondton, AB.) Last year's performance, WATERING HOLE, was uplifting and memorable.

Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door and can be purchased at www.thedancehallkittery.org and at RiverRun Bookstore, Wallingford Square in Kittery.

The performance is presented with the generous support of Peter Motson.
