Sponsored entirely by Darling’s of Bangor, Inc., the highly successful Wednesday On Main program returns for its second season on June 15. Bringing a live event to Bucksport’s Main Street every Wednesday through August 31st. This year’s series begins June 15 as the ever popular Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers return to The Alamo Theatre with their hit show “Everybody Loves Pirates”, for kids aged 5 to 65, starting at 5:30 pm.  Donations are always gratefully accepted at every event.

Well known Maine musicians such as The Mallet Brothers Band, The Ghost of Paul Revere, Stesha Cano, The Danny Harper Band, Blue Northern and more are on tap throughout the summer, along with nationally known author Monica Wood, the Sierra Club Maine’s Executive Director Glen Brand, a special Food On Main event, and the moving and beautiful film ‘Rhythm of the Heart’ will all be in Bucksport this summer under the Wednesday On Main banner.  All events begin at 5:30 pm and details are at the Wednesday On Main website.

Enjoy special treats at area restaurants, stroll the Waterfront Walkway and be dazzled by amazing views of the mighty Penobscot River, Fort Knox State Park and the Penobscot Narrows Observatory.
