The Poland Spring Preservation Society would like to invite golfers from all around to play on America’s oldest golf course, which was designed by Donald Ross, for the Fenn-Ross Tournament! It will be held May 17 at 8:00am, rain or shine, with a bagpiper to kick off the tournament. We are celebrating 100 years of golf at the Poland Spring Resort!

Players will have the chance to use antique hickory shafted golf club a couple of times, wear knickers (if desired) and walk in the footsteps of the golf greats like Harry Vardon, Bobby Jones, Walter Hagan, and many more.

There will be special events and prizes! The Apres golf reception at the Maine Inn includes dinner and one complimentary beer or a glass of wine, tournament awards, prizes, and raffle presentations!

This Golden Event is held to benefit the Poland Spring Preservation Society, which is a 501 ©3 non-profit that is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Maine State Building, from the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago fame (ask us how it got here!), and the All Souls Chapel built in 1912 as a non-denominational place of worship for the World famous Poland Spring Hotels.
