The Kennebec Performing Arts Company is pleased to announce that we are welcoming new musicians for our 2015-2016 season. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organization with a long history of making music in the greater Augusta area. Under the direction of Charles T. Milazzo, our three ensembles—an auditioned four-part chorus, a large wind ensemble, and a jazz band—perform in at least two concert series each year. Our musicians are your incredibly talented neighbors and fellow community members—everyone from students to music teachers; from working professionals to the retired young-at-heart.   

We are seeking both vocalists and instrumentalists. The ability to read music is required. Our chorus rehearses Monday nights from 6:30-8:30, at the Hope Baptist Church in Manchester—first rehearsal is Monday, September 14. Our Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble rehearse in several area high schools on Tuesday nights from 5:45-7:00 and 7:00-8:30, respectively. First rehearsal is at Cony High School on Tuesday, September 1.
