Andersen Design has been designing and crafting slip cast ceramics in Maine since 1952.

We have a vast array of classic and perennially marketable ceramic wildlife sculpture and functional form designs

An important aspect of our company identity is American individualism. We have a vision which we call the Great American Ceramic Artists Designer Craftsmen Network. It is a vision of transforming our family business into a form that can benefit and benefit by a network of American slip casting productions of multifarious sizes and styles to suit the multifarious line that we have produced. Andersen Design is committed to keeping the process of hand crafted slip cast ceramics alive and well because we believe such a work process, in and of itself, is a “social benefit” !

Collectively, it might cost around 50, 000.00 to produce all the molds. We are merging of crowd-funding and bootstrapping by launching each mold making project separately on our new website for Andersen Design crowdfunding projects. AndersenDesign.Biz

We are launching the new website with one of our popular mugs, for which there currently exists only one mold. We have never put our mug designs on a mass market. One needs to have many molds to do that- or even to wholesale on a micro scale.

You can have a great set of American hand crafted ceramic mugs at a discounted price and at the same time help to launch this mug into a larger market and larger scaled production, creating American jobs in a enduring and engaging work process.
