Ten Bucks Theatre Company invites you to experience THE TURN OF THE SCREW by Jeffrey Hatcher from the novel by Henry James and  directed by Ben Layman. A chill is in the air . . . the leaves are turning . . . and the unmistakable melancholy energy of Autumn inspires Ten Bucks' next offering, THE TURN OF THE SCREW.

Ten Bucks Theatre is gearing up to present this classic tale of terror just in time for the Halloween season! The Victorian era thriller starring Jesse McCormick and Melissa Burkart tells the tale of a young governess who arrives at an isolated English manor to care for two recently orphaned children. Soon, she begins to see two mysterious spirits haunting the children. She struggles to maintain her sanity while finding a way to save the children from the clutches of the evil apparitions.

THE TURN OF THE SCREW will be performed at the Eddington/Clifton Civic Center (1347 Main Road, Rt. 9) October 24, 25, 31 and November 1 at 7:00 p.m. and October 26 and November 2 at 2:00 p.m. All tickets are $10.00 (cash or checks, only). Box office in the Hall opens 1 hour prior to show times.

There will be a special presentation of Maine based ghost stories before the show on October 31 and November 1. (Curtain time for these dates remains 7:00 p.m.)

The Bangor Public Library invites those who'd like to delve deeper with the text and enhance their viewing to attend their play group's reading and discussion of THE TURN OF THE SCREW on Tuesday, October 21 and Saturday, October 25.
