(Portland, ME) Richard Boyd Art Gallery opens 'Serenity' an annual exhibition of paintings by gallery artists on November 1, at 10:00 a.m.  The exhibit features a selection of paintings in a variety of styles and media that evoke feelings of tranquility or calmness in the viewer. On view are paintings by artists' Katharine Cartwright—watercolor on paper and oil on canvas; Pam Cabañas—monochromatic ink wash on paper; Rob Anderson—oil on canvas; Amy Bickford—acrylic based gouache on gesso board; and Bob Santandrea—pastel on paper.

The exhibit is free of charge and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through November 30, 2014. Additional days and times by appointment.
