3 Day Workshops With Dan Graziano In Castine, Maine

Each workshop will focus on painting outdoors from life (en plein air) along with basic art fundamentals of color temperature, value, edges, composition and paint handling. We will also discuss how to develop greater skills of observation, simplification, identification of strong focal points and quickly painting “wet on wet” (alla prima) to translate what you see and experience into strong paintings. 

Participants will paint every day at a different location around the picturesque coastal town of Castine, Maine. Each class begins with a brief demonstration by Dan followed by everyone painting, with plenty of one-on-one instruction. Beginners to advanced painters are welcome.
