The Unity College Drama Club is proud to present...The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar WildeA Trivial Comedy for Serious People a play by Oscar Wilde. It is a farcical comedy in which the protagonists maintain fictitious persona to escape burdensome social obligations. Working within the social conventions of late Victorian London, the play's major themes are the triviality with which it treats institutions as serious as marriage, and the resulting satire of Victorian ways. This comedy is a pure delight as Oscar Wilde's character come to life once again on the stage of the Unity College Center for the Performing Arts (UCCPA)Admission is free, but donations to the Drama Club for future productions is greatly appreciated. Showings are on April 25th at 7pm and April 26th at 3pmFor more information or to reserve seats, please email the President of the Drama Club at Ghall12@unity.edu You can also follow our progress in this production at facebook.com/UCDramaClubWe hope to see everyone there!!
