May 6-7, 2004 Meet the speakers Join Governor John Elias Baldacci as he holds the first ever conference on Maine's Creative Economy. This conference will explore economic development that utilizes community resources to leverage investment for sustainable growth. Economic development and arts and cultural experts throughout New England are looking to Maine as it takes the leadership position on the Creative Economy. Through Governor Baldacci's initiative, Maine is far ahead of many other states. You will want to be a part of the discussion on May 6 and 7, 2004. You will meet and network with economic sectors that have rarely, if ever, been in the same room together. You'll learn how some communities are getting it right the first time and experiencing renaissance growth.
