RIVER ARTS SETS BUSY SCHEDULE OF CLASSES AND EXHIBITIONS
River Arts at 170 Main Street, Damariscotta, will open the new season with an exhibition of instructors' works on October 16th. Artists will include Phil Frey, Tina Ingraham, Kathleen Mack, John Lorence, Hannah Ineson, and Martha Baum.
Meanwhile, "brush up" on sculpture, oils, acrylics and drawing before the winter winds blow. Learn successful strategies and special skills in classes taught by successful artists.
Among the classes are:
Painting: Visual Composition with John Lorence. Classes will meet on six Tuesdays from 10am-3pm beginning October 20. Fees: $360, members; $385, non-members;
Oil Painting with Tina Ingraham, eight Fridays (except Thanksgiving weekend) from 9:30am-12:30pm. Fees: $360 members; $385, non-members;
Drawing the Figure with Tina Ingraham, eight Fridays (except Thanksgiving weekend) from 2pm-5pm. Fees: $360, members; $385, non-members;
Acrylics with Phil Frey, a one-day workshop on November 1, 9am-4pm. Fees: $105, members; $130, non-members;
Watercolor Workshop with Hannah Ineson, one day, November 7, 9am-4pm. Fees: $90members; $110 non-members;
Beginning Oil Painting with Martha Baum, four Thursdays (no class on Thanksgiving) beginning November 5, 1pm-4pm.
Learn to model the human figure in clay, ongoing four-week sessions monitored by Kathleen Mack. Wednesdays, 9:30am-12:30pm; or Tuesdays, 6pm-9pm. Classes held at Mack?s studio in Round Pond; fees: $60, members; $80, non-members;
Life Drawing Open Studios at River Arts with Roberta Goscke, monitor, Wednesdays 6pm-9pm; $15, members, $20, non-members.
