CALL FOR ARTISTS 2010-Spring show Available

If you would like to be considered for a show 2010, please follow instructions below:

All artists must either submit slides to P.O. Box 250, Portland, ME 04112, send a link to their website (showing at least 25-30 pieces suitable for these shows) - or mail me a CD-rom with your images burnt onto the disk.

Although I do accept phone calls, email is the best way to reach me. Please include words like Art, Artist, or Art Show in your subject line. If you can refer me to your website that is great.

High ceilings/large open space - great for showing medium to large pieces.

Prefer still life, abstract, geometric pieces vs. living subjects/portraits. Venue has a SOLID history of SELLING pieces.

NOTE - The "artist" has to deliver the art in person and also pick it up (or send someone to), I do not have a facility to take delivery or ship the artwork back. Thank you for understanding.

The second venue is a Southern Maine bank Branch opened within the last three years. The walls are neutral and the space is open and inviting. This venue has a history of sales & is open to the public. NOW accepting names for 2011 or waitlists only.

Commission 30%. You drop off work, I install it. Shows are 3 month rotations and run quarterly. January - March April - June July - September October - December. There is room for about 25 medium to larger sized pieces and this is a nail hanging. Even if you are not sure if this is write for you, email me or get in touch with me. I do the install. You drop off and pick up.

Artist must have full body of work at the time of application.
