Teach Applied Jazz Piano to music majors and non-majors as needed (Hours of private studio instruction for academic year 2008/9 are TBD), direct chamber jazz ensembles, possible classroom instruction as qualified and as needed. Contribute to an outstanding jazz program and work with the piano faculty to co-ordinate on issues of piano technique. Perform with the USM Faculty Jazz Ensemble.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred; outstanding credentials as a performer and teacher.
Appointment Date: September 1, 2008
Salary: $50.00 per studio hour (undergraduate instruction)$60.00 per studio hour (graduate instruction)
