Maine artists are invited to submit work to the Kennebec Valley Art Association's 14th annual juried art show. Work will be exhibited in May 2009 at the Harlow Gallery in downtown Hallowell. $1,200 in cash prizes will be awarded based on merit and artistic excellence, at the opening on Friday, May 8th at 6pm.
This year's jurors are Carlton Plummer, A.W.S. and Helen St. Clair. The dates for delivery of artwork to the Harlow Gallery this year are Saturday, April 25 from noon to 6pm, and Sunday, April 26 from noon to 4pm. There is an entry fee for this show, which helps to cover costs relating to organizing the exhibition. Any additional proceeds will support the Harlow Gallery, home of the Kennebec Valley Art Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to promote the arts and artists in central Maine.
