The editors and editorial board are selecting poems now for the Fall 2009 Special Food Issue. In a few weeks it will be ready to serve.

A limited number of copies of the Summer 2009 Issue are still available, with poems by Nancy White, Robert Chute, Joyce Wilson, Paul Hostovsky.

Off the Coast will participate in the Small Press Fair at the second annual Massachusetts Poetry Festival on Saturday, October 17, 2009 in historic downtown Lowell, MA. This festival begins on Thursday, October 15 at events throughout the state, then centers on Lowell for a three-day event with readings, panels, workshops, films and featuring poets Robert Pinsky, Louise Gluck, Anne Waldman and Afaa Weaver. Submissions:

Send 1-3 previously unpublished, quality poems, any subject or style cut-and-paste in the body of an e-mail. Postal submissions with SASE. Please include contact information with submission.

We need B&W graphics and photos to grace the pages of Off the Coast, and color or B&W for the cover. Send 3-5 images in jpg format.

For reviews, send a single copy of a newly published poetry book.

Contributors receive one free copy. Additional copies of the issue their work appears in available for half the cover price.

Subscriptions for Off the Coast are $35. Single issue: $10.
