Select Facility Needs from over 560 Identified

Johnson Hall, Gardiner $2,885,000
Johnson Hall, an 1864 opera house, plans rehabilitation of the historic performance spaces on its second and third floors. There are also be exterior building needs, and some changes needed to the first floor, as part of a complete rehabilitation project.

Robert A. Frost Memorial Library, Limestone $450,000
Built in 1942 , this library is in the middle of a capital campaign for an addition. It needs an accessible entrance, bathroom, and ADA-compliant access to its second floor; adequate storage for print material; a public meeting space; and a children's area.

Pejepscot Historical Society, Brunswick $230,000
1862 Skolfield-Whittier House of brick, granite, and wood; Pejepscot Museum and Research Library; and Joshua L. Chamberlain Museum. In need of renovations and repairs.

Gray Public Library $1,500,000
Needs a new addition, an accessible entrance, print and non-print storage space, electrical upgrades, meeting space, a children's area and climate controls.

Farmington Historical Society $150,000
1800 house of wood construction, renovated 1960; 1800's Church needs renovation; No climate controls.

Eastport Arts Center, Eastport $286,000
Needed capital improvements include: theater drapes; sprinklers; stage construction; lighting grid; electrical; lighting instruments; raking house floor; first floor seating; bell tower; roof; repair east wall; plaster; interior paint; exterior repair and paint; chair lift; ADA doors and exit signage.

Robert Abbe Museum, Bar Harbor $160,000
At several locations: an upgrade of the electrical supply; heating system, copper gutter system, preventive care for the masonry cladding, and repairs to their tile roofing. Other special needs.
