Grand Opera Meets the Mighty Kotzschmar

On Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 7:30 p.m., join us for an evening of opera arias and choruses accompanied by glorious transcriptions on the newly renovated Kotzschmar Organ. Experience opera favorites and taste a range of styles, composers, and languages. From Bizet’s Carmen to Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, Verdi's Aida to Wagner’s Tannhäuser, this delightful concert will have something for everyone.

Featuring special guests: Metropolitan Opera soloists Ashley Emerson, Soprano and Megan Marino, Mezzo-soprano, and Randall Mullin, organist.

Guest Appearance: John David Adams, Bass The Choral Art Society Masterworks Chorus, Robert Russell, Music Director Members of Musica de Filia, Jaye Churchill, Director

Pre-concert Talk 6:30-7:00 (in concert hall) with Cailen Lewis, Randall Mullin and Carolyn Paulin.

A collaboration concert presented by Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ and The Choral Art Society.
