Grant: $1,500The grant will support the production of templates for pre- and post-performance engagement materials for "Chautauqua!" an Opera House Arts' presentation at the Stonington Opera House on April 1, 2011. The Cue Sheets will be a new hybrid material: a combination “study guide,” for all ages, including background materials, research and reference links, photos, artwork, music, video links, historical and biographical information pertinent to the production, as well as means (exercises, blog links, direct links to artists, designers, etc.) for the reader/viewer to become more deeply engaged with the production and its source materials; and a rich marketing piece to be distributed in a number of electronic and conventional forms.
Grant: $1,500The grant money received will support the creation of a promotional Maine Craft video destined to be shown on both the internet and television. The Maine Craft Association strengthens individual craft artists, Maine communities, local economies, and the visitor experience by making Maine a national destination for fine craft. They showcase fine Maine craft, sell the work of more than 400 artists (over $800,000 to date), produce exhibitions, host demonstrations, and provide tourism information to hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world.
