Opera House ArtsGrant: $1,500The grant will support the production of templates for pre- and post-performance engagement materials for "Chautauqua!" an Opera House Arts' presentation at the Stonington Opera House on April 1, 2011. The Cue Sheets will be a new hybrid material: a combination “study guide,” for all ages, including background materials, research and reference links, photos, artwork, music, video links, historical and biographical information pertinent to the production, as well as means (exercises, blog links, direct links to artists, designers, etc.) for the reader/viewer to become more deeply engaged with the production and its source materials; and a rich marketing piece to be distributed in a number of electronic and conventional forms.

Maine Crafts Association

Maine Crafts AssociationGrant: $1,500The grant money received will support the creation of a promotional Maine Craft video destined to be shown on both the internet and television. The Maine Craft Association strengthens individual craft artists, Maine communities, local economies, and the visitor experience by making Maine a national destination for fine craft. They showcase fine Maine craft, sell the work of more than 400 artists (over $800,000 to date), produce exhibitions, host demonstrations, and provide tourism information to hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world.

Grant: $1,500The grant money supports marketing for "Near and Far: A Print Collaboration With Zanzibar,” an exhibition of original prints by Peregrine Press members and Zanzibar artists.

Grant: $1,500The grant funds the marketing of a documentary film called DRUNKEN.
Southern Aroostook Cultural Arts Project
Grant: $1,500The grant funds the creation of a new website that is supported by social networking, PayPal sales, blogs and interactive features that will enhance the visibility of regional artists and organizations.
The Telling Room
Grant: $1,500The grant money supports an educational Video about The Telling Room to help raise awareness of their programs and to engage more students.
Salt Bay Chamberfest
Grant: $1,500The grant money supports the Integrated Design Project 2011, employing a Maine-based graphic designer to integrate all the publication materials for Salt Bay for the August 2011 Festival.
