(Portland, ME) Richard Boyd Art opens an annual exhibition of original paintings and drawings on Friday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m.

The exhibit explores works by artists creating art on a time honored raw product - paper. An unforgiving surface around for centuries, paper reveals the artist's proficiency in creating visual art.

The show includes a selection of original works in watercolor, acrylic, graphite, mixed media and pastels created en plein air or in studio settings depicting a range of scenes in a variety of styles. 

The exhibit features new work by artist Patricia Chandler - acrylic, graphite and mixed media; and works by artists Randy Eckard - watercolor; Julianne Garvey - watercolor; and Bob Santandrea - pastels.

Works on Paper is on view free of charge every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. through March 30, 2018. Additional days and times by chance or scheduled by appointment.
