Join the Portland Bach Experience for world-class live music that bridges generations, connects friends, and strengthens communities. Whether you enjoy full orchestral performances, intimate salons in art galleries, public sing-alongs, outdoor parties, or hands-on events for children, there’s something for everyone to love at the Portland Bach Experience.

This year’s free events include a Carnival Concert in Portland’s East Bayside neighborhood, BachBends Yoga on the Eastern Promenade, Bach & Beer at Foulmouthed Brewery in South Portland, and an Ice Cream Concert at the Reiche Elementary School playground.

This year’s concert line-up features two-time GRAMMY-nominated violinist Jesse Irons starring in Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and The [uncertain] Four Seasons, the U.S. premiere of a contemporary project with an iteration created specifically for Portland, Maine, that reflects climate change predictions. Week two brings 2019 GRAMMY-winner Mandy Wolman to town for Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, the virtuosic Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen (Exult in God in all lands) for trumpet and soprano soloists, and Vivaldi’s rarely heard Stabat Mater, featuring 2022 GRAMMY-nominated mezzo Carrie Cheron.

The Portland Bach Experience June Festival runs from May 31 to June 12, 2022, with events between Kennebunk and Brunswick. Tickets are on sale now at www.portlandbachexperience.com. The full schedule is available at https://www.portlandbachexperience.com/upcoming-events.
