The Maine VLA is a non-profit organization that provides underserved artists and arts organizations, and other creative people, with legal services to aid them in enhancing our Creative Economy.

Maine VLA assists artists with:

-entity formation
-copyright/trademark licensing
-dispute resolution
-and much more

Maine VLA seeks to help artists of all types: including visual and gallery artists, and also healing artists, martial artists, film producers, writers, dancers, and anyone else who considers what they do an art. If you or your organization thinks that we can help you, please contact us. Even if we can''t help, it doesn''t hurt to ask.

Maine VLA also sponsors and hosts a variety of events from social networking events to educational seminars geared to inform the public about legal and business issues relating to artists.
