About the Artist
Melinda Campbell is a painter and a practicing art educator. She holds a B.F.A. from UMASS Dartmouth and a M.S.Ed from UNE. Her style is expressive and painterly. Her collections of works range from landscape, portrait and coastal scenes. She has showed at many venues. She has led workshops at the Auburn Public Library and is currently teaching elementary art. In June of 2008 she traveled to Central Italy to paint scenes in Umbria under the guidance of Nina Weiss of The School of the Chicago Art Institute. She has served as co-chair to the 1% for Arts Committee.
