About the Artist

We are a non-profit association dedicated to promoting art and encouraging the creative spirit through a variety of programs, events and art student scholarships. BAS meetings, which often feature artist presentations, are open to the public, and take place at 6 p.m. at Bangor Public Library on the fourth Tuesday of the month, September through June. Yearly events include an All-Member show in February, a Juried Show in May, the Annual Auction in November, and Paint Bangor Day in July, which culminates in a silent auction. We welcome new members and new ideas, taking delight in passionate, creative spirits!
