About the Artist

The Portland Arts &&&& Cultural Alliance (PACA) is a non-profit 501c3 organization. PACA was formed in 1985 by the Executive Directors of various large arts and cultural organizations such as the Maine College of Art, the Portland Museum of Art, the Portland Symphony Orchestra, PCA Great Performances, Portland Stage Company, the Portland Public Library, and the Maine Historical Society. In 1997 PACA was designated Portland?s Local Arts Agency by City Council resolution.

PACA''s mission is ?Empowering and supporting artists to strengthen Portland."" The mission is achieved by assessing, articulating and advocating for the needs of artists.
