Call for Imaginative Seating!

The Downtown Art Committee for the city of Augusta Maine is seeking unique outdoor seating with a design concept related to the Kennebec River. 

Several $500. commissions will be given to those individuals whose proposals best fit the following:

 A 2-seater bench that's constructed to be:

• durable and safe, 

• easy to clean and to remove during winter months,

• with a form that's exciting with a Kennebec River theme.

All are invited to submit one or more ideas by sending: a brief description of your concept(s) with a sketch; please include size and materials proposed, by July 1, 2017.  You may include photos of past work.
