Alison Chase/Performance, in collaboration with Atlantic Clarion Steel Band, launch Dancing with Steel, a new series of outdoor and family friendly performances that pair dance with coastal Maine landscapes. Part concert, part lawn party, part street dance, this iconoclastic series includes nine performances. From July 25 to August 4, Dancing with Steel will travel between seven different sites from Schoodic Point to Portland’s Congress Square Park. The Maine Community Foundation has generously provided the funds to make this series possible.
