Much more than a hilarious comedy, Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew gives us insight into what lengths we’ll go to for love and legacy. It is  a story of true equality and liberation.

It’s truly an honor to be working on this play at this time. Though it has been a challenge, I think I speak for the entire cast in saying that it has been a welcome challenge to find a way to practice our beloved art form safely. The reason I personally wanted to continue is because I think our country, our world needs a bit of the empathy, connection and insight that theatre brings us. We hope that our hard work brings a little joy to our audiences as it has brought immense happiness to the artists working on the play. ~ Amy Roeder, Director
