The Zany, Majestic Bard, written and performed by David Greenham, premieres in Augusta Tuesday, April 26th at 6 p.m. at the Maine State Library. It’s free, lasts about an hour, and will feature a bonus monologue or sonnet by Maine State Museum Collections Manager Natalie Liberace!

The Maine State Library and Maine Humanities Council have collaborated to present this as a touring show that will go to various libraries in Maine and encourage more people fall in love with Shakespeare. The shows are in honor of the First Folio coming to the Portland Public Library, and the 400th anniversary of his death Saturday, April 23rd.
