Seanachie Nights welcomes New Hampshire Storyteller and all-around wit, Andy Davis, performing a set of folktales he’s calling “The Seven Deadlies and Other Matters of Importance.” He’ll touch on all of the cardinal sins Evagrius the Solitary warned us against in the 4th century. (He agrees that you should avoid most of them, but thinks it might not hurt to dabble in a couple of them, in moderation.)
Andy Davis was bit by the storytelling bug 25 years ago telling comic tales by candlelight in Mexican refugee camps. He’s since broadened and refined his craft, and has entertained audiences as far east as Paris, as far south as Bamako, and as far west as San Diego. Michael Parent (see above) calls him “a storyteller with brains and heart.”
Andy co-directs the 'World Fellowship Center in Albany, NH, an educational family camp and retreat center dedicated to peace and social justice.

With traditional music on concertina, fiddle, and ukelele from the Seanachie Nights Regulars: Lynne Cullen, Janet Lynch, and Kurt Kish.
Seanachie Nights takes place on the third Monday of each month. scription here]
