Tales By Poe opens Portland Ballet’s season on a haunting note.  This audience favorite brings the classic work of Edgar Allen Poe to life through vignettes based on his short stories set to notorious music and filled with dynamic choreography.  With compelling readings of Poe’s work interwoven with the choreography, the imagery and aura will stay with you long after the curtain closes.

The Friday performance is at 7:30 p.m. and the Saturday matinee is at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets are available through PortTix.

There is a pre-show Brews and Ballet event (ticketed separately, Brews and Ballet ticket does not include admission to Tales By Poe) on Friday, October 27, 6-7pm.  Join Portland Ballet's board and other arts enthusiasts at Mast Landing Brewing Company's Westbrook taproom (920 Main Street).  Ticket includes one complimentary drink and light refreshments.  This event is 21+, tickets are $10 + $2 ticketing fee.
