The Exchange offers an opportunity to market and promote artists, products and creative services. The room is where presenters, artists, managers, and agents can meet to explore booking options and touring. It is a place where professional development session leaders can discuss their work with conference attendees. It is a place to increase awareness of what companies do, promote ones organizations and conduct business with vendors that provide services to the cultural sector.
The Exchange will be located at the Bodwell Lounge in the Collins Center for the Arts. The area will open for a majority of the MICA conference, with dedicated times on Thursday and Saturday for attendees to be at the Exchange.
- Load In will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday hours will be from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
- Friday hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday hours will be from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
- Load Out will be Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
You can purchase a booth in the Exchange through the Collins Center Box Office for $175, which includes a conference registration for one person as well as a vendor badge for the exchange room. Additional booth staff will be required to register for the conference. When you register for the Exchange you will be sent a link to a questionnaire so your complete information can be highlighted through the conference materials, the Exchange floor map and event promotions. You will be able to select your booth location on the questionnaire. All booth sizes are 6’x8’ and the space will come with a 72”x 30” table, two folding chairs, a waste basket, tablecloth, electricity and a small table sign indicating the company name. Booth-sharing is not allowed, please, only one company per booth.
