Holiday Fair at Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick
The Unitarian Universalist Church is offering unique and carefully created gifts at their annual Holiday Fair on Saturday, December 5 from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. at their church on the corner of Pleasant and Middle Streets in Brunswick.
Their welcoming space will be filled with local selections, such as: fresh handmade wreaths and holiday greens centerpieces, home baked goods, handcrafted items by skilled craftsmen, including ornaments, mittens, and all those longed-for wintery things.
Local authors will be present to sign copies of their latest books. Children’s author, Wendy Ulmer, will have copies of her new color and counting book, One Green Tree, Ten Chickadees. She’ll also have copies of her Spark Award winning, My Twelve Maine Christmas Days. In addition, mystery and children’s writer Lea Wait will have her latest mystery Shadows on a Maine Christmas as well as her young adult historical novels set in the 19th century.
There will be a table with all you need to gift your friends and family with a donation to Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine.
Or simply come to enjoy delicious homemade breakfast muffins or scones at the UU Breakfast and Lunch Café where you can relax while being served at small, festive tables. For lunch, you’ll find a variety of tasty soups, including homemade fish chowder, and pie for dessert. Hot chocolate, coffee, tea and mulled cider will also be available throughout the day.
The UU Holiday Fair offers a tasty and fun way to support local artists, writers and community organizations.
