About the Artist
Watershed Center is a residency/retreat program for artists from across the country and around the world who work in clay. Each summer, 75 artists come for two-week residency sessions. During the remaining nine months of the year, six artists are in residence. Watershed Center offers the statewide Maine community access to ceramic arts through its Mudmobile which takes clay arts education into schools and community venues with workshops, lectures, demonstrations, exhibitions, and artists'' residencies. Professional development activites are available for ceramic artists and K-12 arts teachers.
