About the Artist

Ginny Palmer is a freelance jazz vocalist who has performed in Europe and the U.S. She has had the opportunity to perform with many jazz great such as Richard Davis, Eddie Gomez and others. She also performed at the first annual Maine Jazz Festival in SEPT. OF 2000. As a music educator, she has led gifted and talented jazz vocal groups, has adjudicated for several years at the Maine H.S. Jazz Festivals, JAZZ ALL STATE FESTIVALS, directed the jazz vocal ensemble at UMA and is currently involved in private vocal instruction. She is the vocalist for the Al Corey Big Band under the direction of Brian Nadeau, the Patrick Michaud Big Band and also works in may Combo Settings throughout Maine.
