Announcing the 2020 Cabin Fever Film Fest!

  • February 14, 2020

Last March, we launched a new experiment we called Cabin Fever Film Fest. Our goal was simple...bring a bit of the CIFF experience to Midcoast Maine at a time when we all need it most. We’re happy to say that not only was it a success, it was also super fun!

At the core of everything we do is the belief that there’s something incredibly special about bringing people together to experience the power of nonfiction storytelling. Cabin Fever is another moment where we get to do that, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this year’s program with you.

Taking place February 28th through March 1st at the Camden Opera House, this year's Cabin Fever has been expanded to include three days of film screenings, a virtual reality exhibition, live music, and other special events.

Take a moment to preview the Cabin Fever program below. Highlights include a number of special pre-release screenings of new films fresh from their world premiere at last month’s Sundance Film Festival, including the Audience Award winner, Crip Camp. We are also excited to be working with a few new local partners, Orono Brewing and Herbal Revolution, and long-time CIFF friend, Rock City Coffee, who will be providing free coffee throughout the weekend!

Passes and tickets are now on-sale! This year, we’re offering two levels of passes and advance ticket sales for all screenings.

  • Film Passes ($40) -- includes one admission to all 7 screenings.
  • All Access Passes ($75) -- admits one to all 7 film screenings, the Storyforms VR exhibition, our Opening Night Reception, and Saturday Night Party at Betty Forever.
  • Individual Screening Tickets ($10)

Passes and tickets can also be purchased (pending availability) on the day of show at the Camden Opera House Box Office. For passes, tickets, trailers, schedule and more information about the 2020 Cabin Fever Film Fest, visit: https://cabinfever2020.eventive.org/
