Teaching Artist (part-time):

The Brick Store Museum is seeking a creative and compassionate Teaching Artist to join our team. The Teaching Artist will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and innovative art education programs to students of various age groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the arts, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering creativity and artistic expression. This position falls under the guidance of the Museum Education Team.

Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field. Previous experience as a teaching artist or art educator. Strong artistic skills in various mediums. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Knowledge of educational best practices and learning theories.

Compensation: $30/hr, 3-5 hours per week. Ideal class times would be 3:30-5pm on weekdays and varying times on the weekends.
