St Mary Schola presents 'As Pants the Hart' concert. Featuring Bach's poignant aria from Cantata 42, rarely performed chromatic harmonies by Lassus and Gesualdo and a radiant five part setting of the famous 'Ave Maria' by Palestrina. The second half of the concert features Handel's Chandos Anthem Number 6, 'As pants the hart.' The anthem features a vigorous opening sinfonia and heartfelt arias and duets.
