Sometimes the hardest story to tell is our own! Why do we make the things we make? Who are these things for, and how do we talk about our creative endeavors in a compelling way? MCA is bringing this popular workshop to Presque Isle. MCA programs manager Dorothy Royle Macdonald will lead a productive and fun session with like-minded, creative peers. This workshop promises to jump-start your artist statement or bio; it’s for anyone who hasn’t updated their ‘About’ page or social media artist profile in six months (or six years!). Participants are encouraged to email a current/working artist statement or bio in advance. Very rough drafts are welcome!

Workshop Cost: $35 non-members, $25 MCA members
Fee includes workshop hours (9am-noon) plus an additional optional hour for an Info Session/Q&A about MCA programs and opportunities  (Noon-1pm)

Date: Saturday, November 9, 2019
