Sarah Leighton, recent award winner of the Maine Arts Commission's Springboard Artist Grant, will be doing a rug hooking demonstration and show at Belfast Fiberarts on October 3rd from 12-2pm. Come view some of Sarah's hooked rugs and learn more about the craft. Local rug hookers are also welcome to join the fun by bringing their current projects to work on together. This is a free, public event.
