About: The WMAI Artist in Residence program is for active or retired service members in any branch of the military. Artists in Residence receive discounted studio rent in return for serving as ambassadors to the program and performing additional duties, such as teaching WMAI classes or curating WMAI-related exhibits. Artists may also create work in their Workhouse studio, exhibit on campus, and share and sell artwork to visitors.
