On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the town of Castine will celebrate a day of Art & Creativity by hosting Art Under the Elms. The event will take place on the Town Common from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Artists will display and sell original works across a wide range of media, including painting, mixed media, jewelry, photography, printmaking, glass, sculpture, and traditional bird and duck carvings. Guests may also enjoy appetizers, refreshing summer beverages, live music, and a silent auction throughout the day.

Proceeds from Art Under the Elms will benefit the Trinitarian Congregational Parish of Castine’s Community Care & Outreach Programs. With Castine’s rich historical significance and its close proximity to Acadia National Park, the event is expected to attract a large audience and generate widespread interest.
