Artist Call: Season of Giving Arts Sale

The Brick Store Museum is planning ahead for the holidays, and will be opening a Season of Giving Arts Sale during the first three weekends in December. Artists, crafters, and makers of any handmade items are welcome to apply for the display. Part of the Brick Store Museum’s mission is to celebrate current local arts and entrepreneurs. The Season of Giving Arts Sale will serve as a “brick-and-mortar” pop-up shop for artists during the popular holiday season.
Applications, and more information, can be found on the Museum’s website, www.brickstoremuseum.org/events/seasonofgivingartssale, or at the Museum’s front desk at 117 Main Street in Kennebunk. Regional artists are invited to submit an application to the juried sale, which will take place in the Museum’s Program Center on December 2-3, 9-10, and 16-17, with a special evening opening on December 8 from 5-7pm for the Art Trail of the Kennebunks holiday event. Applications are due by September 30, with selection by October 6.
The Arts Sale will be set up by Museum staff and volunteers, and does not require artists to be present. A Museum representative will coordinate all sales, as artists’ works will be displayed with other accepted entries so that shoppers can purchase multiple artists’ items at once. This also allows artists exhibiting in multiple shows during the busy holiday season to take part.
