MUNKA Studios is seeking proposals from artists to paint a mural on the metal bench located directly in front of the gallery! This bench is in a wonderful location to show your work in downtown Lewiston.

Artists can submit up to three design ideas of their choice. The chosen artist will be paid $750 for painting the bench. The artist will be responsible for all costs required for the mural including the costs for material. The bench is primed and ready to be painted. The mural should be able to withstand the elements.

To be considered for this project please submit your ideas by June 19, 2022:

• Basic Information: Please provide your first and last name, email, mailing address, phone number, and expected completion time for bench.
• Artist Profile: Show us some of the previous work you’ve done and give us a short bio about yourself.
• Skills and Qualifications: Let us know your skill set and how you plan on utilizing that to create your masterpiece!

Please submit your designs and information to info@munkastudios.com by June 19, 2022. Following the submission process, we will choose an entry and then submit your design to be approved by the City of Lewiston. Once approved, we will announce the winner.
