Hallowell, Maine: The Harlow Gallery in partnership with the Kennebec Valley Humane Society announces an open call for art celebrating our animal companions at home and in the wild. Each artist can submit up to four works of art. Deadline for email submissions from artists is midnight on September 1, 2013.

"Sit. Stay. Art!" will be on view at the Harlow Gallery at 160 Water Street in Hallowell from October 4-26, 2013. There will be an opening reception featuring some very special guests on Friday, October 4 from 5-8:00 p.m. Proceeds from art sales during the exhibition will benefit the Kennebec Valley Humane Society and community arts programming at the Harlow Gallery.
