The purpose of this position is to advance and coordinate communication activities and initiatives in support of programs in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS). This position assists the dean, department chairs and school directors, and other members of CLAS with communication initiatives and activities in support of community engagement, research and creativity, student recruitment, philanthropy, alumni relations, and fostering a sense of community in the College. Approximately half of the Communication Specialist and Marketing Coordinator’s time and effort is dedicated to the School of Performing Arts (SPA). Typical hiring range for this position is $50,000 - $53,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
