Maine Arts Commission Executive Director to Resign

Maine Arts Commission Executive Director David Greenham will resign his post Sept. 29 after leading the state arts agency for the past three years. Before that, he served as a member of the commission and its chair.

“It’s been a distinct honor to work for the Maine Arts Commission, the wonderful staff, and commission members. I’m grateful for the opportunity and am confident their wonderful work will continue,” Greenham said in a statement.

Commission chair David Hopkins thanked Greenham for his service and said a search for his replacement would begin soon. Julie Horn, assistant director of the Maine Arts Commission, will serve as interim director during the search process.
