Pemaquid Art Gallery Call for Artists

The Pemaquid Group of Artists announces a call for artists to exhibit this season at the Pemaquid Art Gallery at Lighthouse Point. Prospective members will be juried from interested artist residents of eligible townships, including Bristol, South Bristol, Damariscotta, Newcastle and Bremen. To confirm space availability, please call Board President Sally Loughridge (207/644-1835) after Monday, April 1. The work of submitting artists will be juried on Saturday, April 20.  Each candidate will be asked to complete a short application and to submit three framed original artworks and resume.

The opening reception for the 85th season of the Pemaquid Art Gallery will be held on Sunday June 9 from 5 until 6:30 pm. The public is invited to attend and view the gallery space filled with a wide variety of original works in watercolor, gouache, oil, pastel, acrylic, marquetry and sculpture.
